The OVO Sound crew has been rather quiet this year. While we’ve heard from Drake and a few new singles from dvsn, for the most part, the rest of the squad has been busy behind the scenes. It’s also been a minute since we last heard something new from Roy Woods. The OVO Sound representative changes all of that with something new for our listening pleasures. This time around, Roy serves up a smooth new cut called “Bubbly.”
The track marks Mr. Woods first release since February when he dropped on a loosie called “Worth It.” While Drake dropped off a new album and Care Package so far this year, the rest of the OVO Sound crew has been rather quiet. Roy ends that with this slick new track. The single, “Bubbly” is pushed by these mid-tempo drum sections, rattling and contagious while paired with some catchy melodic elements.
The combination is too smooth to ignore, and certainly one we’ll have in steady rotation moving forward. Roy always delivers something worth rocking with, and this one is no different. The artist shows off his range and his smooth talents, bringing both to the track flawlessly.
