The duo of Killer Mike and El-P, collectively known as Run The Jewels, are back. Today the two are back, surprising the world by dropping their brand new album, ‘Run The Jewels 4.’ Back on May 12th El-P dropped a tweet indicating that the project would be released on June 5th. However, the pair had a change of heart and released the project a few days early.
The pair released a statement regarding the early release. They stated: “F*ck it, why wait? The world is infested with bullshit, so here’s something raw to listen to while you deal with it all. We hope it brings you some joy.” It goes on to add, “Stay safe and hopeful out there, and thank you for giving two friends the chance to be heard and do what they love.”
The project comes loaded up with eleven new tracks, led by the singles “Ooh LA LA” and “Yankee And The Brave.” The rest of the project is littered with incredible material. Along the way, the two artists are joined by 2 Chainz, Greg Nice, DJ Premier, Pharrell, Zack De La Rocha, Mavis Staples, and Josh Homme.
