The beginning of 2020 brought us a brand new Lil’ Wayne album. The project, ‘Funeral,’ made its return recently as the deluxe edition, including eight brand new tracks. Today we check out one of those eight new tracks in particular. This one is called “Russian Roulette,” featuring Conway and Benny The Butcher. The trio comes together to showcase their respective talents behind the mic, doing so with their uncanny and unadulterated talents.
The track is pushed by this menacing instrumental that provides the MC’s with an incredible home to excel upon. Driven by some dark, infectious melodies and paired with some crisp drum work, the track provides each wordsmith with a perfect backdrop to excel upon. Weezy arrives with his slick delivery and undeniable wordplay while Conway brings his gritty style to the track. Benny comes with a dose of his patent delivery, cooking up something we can’t seem to get enough of.
