The one and only, Westside Gunn is back. This man has made quite a name for himself over the past several years, gaining a lot of momentum in the process. The wordsmith will be dropping another new project on Halloween, as has become the norm. Today he returns with a brand new single for our listening enjoyment called “Kool G.” The track finds Westside Gunn showing off his lyrical prowess, getting a menacing backdrop to showcase his talents.
He isn’t alone this time around, however. The wordsmith pairs up with Benny The Butcher and Conway, with whom he shares the impressive instrumental. The trio takes to the track produced by Alchemist and Daringer, showing off their respective talents in the process. The track is just the latest from Gunn, who will serve up his seventh installment of Hitler Wears Hermes soon. Gunn again shows off his lyrical might, doing so over top of a gritty, intense, and compelling instrumental. His lyrical friends add nicely to the single as well, as they collectively do their thing rather well.
