The Spicy Cucumber Margarita is for anyone looking for a twist on the signature marg. This isn’t your typical margarita, which is precisely why we like it. The Spicy Cucumber Margarita calls for Hornitos Plata Tequila, DeKuyper Triple Sec Liqueur, lemon juice, lime juice, agave nectar, mini cucumber, and jalapeno. The combination has a lot to offer, providing a bold flavor, a bit of heat, and a dose of sourness that you are bound to enjoy. Perfect for the warm Spring and Summer weather ahead, this recipe is definitely going to be one of our go-to’s.

Spicy Cucumber Margarita
3 parts Hornitos Plata Tequila
1/2 part DeKuyper Triple Sec Liqueur
1 part Lemon juice
1 part Lime juice
1 part Agave Nectar (optional)
Muddle 1-2 thin slices of jalapeño pepper in the bottom of a cocktail shaker with the lime, lemon, and optional agave nectar juices. Add the Tequila, Triple Sec, and a handful of ice. Shake and strain into a margarita glass over ice. Garnish with thinly sliced cucumbers and Jalapeño slices (optional for spice).
