HUF is known for its style and streetwear. Eric Haze is known for his art. The two have aligned for a new capsule collection that celebrates both seamlessly. Dubbed the HUF x HAZE capsule, the range features the skate imprint’s quality designs and Mr. Haze’s incredible art for a stylish merger. Eric Haze made his name on the streets of NYC, writing the name ‘HAZE’ in the early ’70s.
Known for his trademark letterforms and unique handstyle, his style eventually led to his own design studio in 1986. The artist captured street and hip-hop culture with graphic design, offering a unique view into the culture. The HUF x HAZE capsule honors that legacy with a range of apparel. The designs include the artist’s signature letterforms, which are seen on hoodies, tees, headwear, and a skate deck.
The pieces also boast different techniques, including embroideries, flocking, screenprints, and all-over patterns. The lineup’s highlight is a special tribute to the late Joshua Prince – aka Dust La Rock – an NYC-based artist, past HUF designer, and Fool’s Gold Records co-founder. The Dust La Rock jacket draws inspiration from an insulated flight jacket in HAZE’s personal archive and is limited to just 100 pieces worldwide.
Take a closer look at this eye-catching new lineup in the images and head over to HUF to pick up your favorite pieces immediately. You can also find the collection at HUF flagship stores. Be sure to keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more style and streetwear selections coming very soon.
