After announcing a groundbreaking partnership earlier this year, PUMA and esports brand, Cloud9, are back at it again. This time around, the two are releasing their first apparel collection, the first major collaboration with a gaming team for PUMA. PUMA has a history rooted in sports, and now they are expanding into the realm of esports. Esports continues to bridge the culture of sport to influences outside of the game that the brand has become synonymous for.
The partnership and apparel collection with Cloud9, joins PUMA’s growing roster of team partnerships. These include Manchester City, AC Milan, Borussia Dortmund, Red Bull Racing, and more. To celebrate the debut of the collection, PUMA and Cloud9 have also released: #DAREYOU. This is an anthem film that features people of all genders, races, and types, daring the viewer to go against the mold and come together where the esports world of Cloud9 unites them.
As for the collaborative collection itself, the range includes Simulation and Alias Hoodies. As well as an assortment of long sleeve and short sleeve tees. The collection also includes a signature PUMA High Score Track Jacket, which will be available in both men’s and women’s sizing. The capsule retails for $28 – $75, boasting plenty of eye-catching styles and bold attention to detail. The PUMA x Cloud9 collection is now available to purchase online at PUMA.com in the US and on Cloud9.gg. More extensive collections are slated to arrive later this year and into 2020.
