Following up a recent collaboration with Star Wars, Levi’s is back yet again paying homage to the film franchise. This time around Levi’s and Star Wars have joined forces on a limited edition trucker jacket. The Chewbacca Trucker Jacket arrives as part of the American denim label’s Authorized Vintage collection. The jacket was inspired by an archival still of Chewbacca from Star Wars: A New Hope. It was one of the first times the world got a glimpse of the Wookie, and things haven’t been the same since.
The vintage jacket features Chewbacca’s face fashioned from a special embroidery technique. It’s then applied to both 80s and 90s Made in the USA vintage Levi’s Trucker Jackets. This makes the piece one-of-a-kind, offering exceptional design with eye-catching attention to detail. You may have a hard time getting your hands on one though. Only 60 of the Levi’s Authorized Vintage Chewbacca Trucker Jackets have been made. The jacket is set to launch on December 20, the same day Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker releases in American theaters.
