The Houston Rockets‘ point guard Russell Westbrook is the latest collaborator to join forces with Acne Studios. The two have come together for an eye-catching capsule collection comprised of workwear-inspired looks. The collection arrives on the heels of Westbrook’s star appearance in Acne Studios’ Spring/Summer 2019 lookbook.
The NBA superstar and the Swedish label offer up a range of denim pieces that reflect and embrace the NBA player’s off-court style. The range features a color palette of light blue acid wash denim, teal green acid wash denim, white, and black. Along the way, we find a minimalist approach with remarkable attention to detail. Standouts include half-zip jackets, utility vests, and short-sleeve shirts. The half-zip jacket boasts a large patch pocket on the front and a drawstring hem. The vest is seen with oversized pockets in the front, detailed with piping along the seams. The imprint also draws inspiration from NBA warmup shirts, while straight jeans and shorts finish things off.
