The good folks over at Only NY do a great job at supplying classic style while celebrating their city. Last month NOAH dropped off a hoodie capsule collection in collaboration with the Whitney Museum. In a similar vein, Only NY has teamed up with the Brooklyn Museum for an exclusive range of streetwear. The collection is comprised of graphic T-shirts, hats, tote bags, and a mug. The hometown imprint was granted access to showcase posters and memorabilia that the Brooklyn Museum collected or commissioned.
The lineup takes inspiration from the past and present exhibition, capturing the history of the museum with a variety of apparel and accessories. We see blue and white T-shirts with “The Brooklyn Museum” in a stylized font. Elsewhere there are pastel-colored shirts with unique graphics and prints. Tote bags are seen in black and white colorways, rocking the same prints as well. Only NY worked with the museum’s archives and merchandising team, creating a stylish range that reflects contemporary aesthetics while respecting the institution’s past.
