Taking Pride! The 2Pac Estate Celebrates Pride Month With New Merch

It’s June, and it’s Pride Month. Adding to 2021’s growing collection of Pride Month capsule collections, the estate of Tupac Shakur has unveiled a new merchandise collection. The new Pride Month capsule collection highlights Pac‘s Greatest Hits cut “Changes.” The track finds the wordsmith speaking about the war on drugs, police brutality, racism, and poverty.

The capsule collection celebrates the song, and Pride Month, through a selection of colorful apparel. The collection includes a black hoodie and two T-shirts in black or white. Each piece features the track’s title in a rainbow motif for Pride Month and 2Pac’s name. Elsewhere we see vivid illustrations of the artist in similar colors.

The estate took to Twitter to announce that 100 percent of the net proceeds will be donated to the Marsha P. Johnson Institute. The organization is dedicated to protecting the human rights of Black transgender people, and Cyndi Lauper’s True Colors United, which focuses on the LGBTQIA+.
