The good folks over at Pizza Hut might be known for creating some of the most iconic fast-food pizza on the planet, but they are back with something unique today. The fast-food giant has aligned with PAC-MAN to recreate the nostalgic experience of playing retro arcade games at old Pizza Hut locations. The two are launching a limited-edition pizza box that features a graphic from one of the game’s maze stages.
The Pizza Hut logo is seen at the center of the box, while the dotted paths along the maze cover the rest of the box. With their smartphones, customers will be able to play an AR version of the game. The game is dubbed Tastemaker PAC-MAN, offering a retro gaming experience with modern appeal. This also lets fans enjoy the classic game along with that traditional pizza, as we all did back in the day.
