The Japanese artist Yusuke Hanai is back in the news feed. The artist has aligned with BEAMS T and Spongebob Squarepants for an eye-catching new capsule collection. Hanai is inspired by American counterculture, which he flawlessly blends with Japanese aesthetics. The new project features an array of classic elements and graphics, including some of our favorite characters.
The collection is host to a range of graphic tees that boast SpongeBob as well as his companions Patrick, Squidward, Gary, and Sheldon. The facial features and proportions reflect Hanai’s signature illustration style. The collection includes collaborative caps and adventure hats with New Era, brown Dickies shorts with SpongeBob print found on the inner waistline, and more.
The collection also features an array of accessories. These include an embroidered patch cap that comes with a keychain attachment, a Nalgene water bottle, and carrying options crafted in collaboration with Gregory.
