The one and only, Daniel Arsham, is back in the news feed. Last we heard from the artist; he was providing a look inside his exhibition ‘Time Dilation.’ Today the artist is back with something new for the fans. The artist has created a limited-edition run of his ‘Falling Clock’ artwork, which is going up for sale. The original ‘Falling Clock’ was created back in 2011 as part of his Elastic Walls series.
The series featured everyday objects that seem to emerge from the walls as if they were crafted from fabric. Now the artist is creating and releasing a limited edition run of these objects.
‘Falling Clock’ is the first of many, and only 99 examples will be made. The piece features a simple wall clock that looks like it is falling to the ground while draped in a clean white fabric. The artwork will go on sale via the artist’s website, starting at Noon ET this Friday, February 19th. No official price has been announced yet, but an original sold in 2018 for $10,000.
