After serving up his debut album STILL back in 2019, TOBi has continued to serve up new music. The Nigerian-Canadian artist is back today to serve up his latest effort, a new project entitled ‘Elements Vol. 1.’ The new collection arrives with ten new tracks, led by the singles “Dollas And Cents,” Made Me Everything,” and “Shine.” TOBi recently spoke about the project, opening up about his influences and the sounds heard on the album.
The artist stated: “I’ve always been against the idea of confining my art into a box, so this is my outlet to be free, expressive, and experiment.” He went on to add, “I’ve got hip hop, R&B, soul, grime, and Afrobeats on here because it’s what I love. This isn’t the album, this is like my [Lil Wayne] Dedication series. I’m going to keep working with all my favorite producers and keep Elements alive for years to come.”
The album is loaded with impressive new material and includes features an array of impressive guests. TOBi is joined by Sango, LOONY, Harrison, Wax Roof, and Juls along the way. Some of our favorites include “Conquest,” “Family Matters,” “Beige,” and, of course, “Made Me Everything.”
