Harlem’s very own, Vado is back. The wordsmith continues to drop new tunes consistently, and he’s back with more of the same. The wordsmith has had a strong year so far in 2019, keeping the trend alive with a brand new project. Today Vado serves up the first volume of ‘Long Run,’ a new series of mixtapes that finds the MC again showing off his lyrical prowess.
The project arrives after his Uptown EP with Smoke DZA and 183rd and the third installment to his V-Day series. This time around, he serves up a ten-track effort that is led by “Jeff Hamilton” with Jim Jones. The project comes locked in with a barrage of new material as Vado shows off his effortless appeal behind the mic. The album also includes features from Benny the Butcher, Dave East, A$AP Ferg, AZ, and more. Some of our favorites from the project are “Gotta Wait,” “Dizzy,” “Sage,” and “No Love.”
Vado does his thing, and he does it well. He serves up a solid showcase of his lyrical abilities and provides us with something solid in the process.
