Memphis’ very own, Yo Gotti is back. Last week he served up a new single for our listening enjoyment, also revealing that his new album, Untrapped would be arriving on January 31st. Ahead of the album’s release, Gotti returns with “More Ready Than Ever.” The track finds the wordsmith showing off his uncanny abilities behind the mic, getting one hell of a home to do so. The track was produced by Streetrunner and Tarik Azzouz, who laced the lyricist with something incredible to excel upon.
The track is built around a sample of Dipset’s classic, “I’m Ready,” while Yo Gotti flexes his lyrical prowess flawlessly. This man never disappoints, and he certainly doesn’t start on this one. The track is the latest from Untrapped, which completes the trio of releases from CMG representatives. The album follows Blac Youngsta’s Church On Sunday and Moneybagg Yo’s Time Served.
