The rising star wordsmith, Yungeen Ace, is back. The wordsmith returns just over a month after pairing up with JayDaYoungan for the collaborative Can’t Speak On It mixtape. Now Yungeen Ace returns with a brand new EP entitled ‘Chloe.’ Ace describes the project as a “passionate” and emotional effort, and that couldn’t be more true. Advertised as a “curated collection” of tracks Ace “wrote and recorded for his girlfriend.” The EP shows off the lyricist’s range, as well as his delivery.
Throughout the new EP, the wordsmith touches on notions of “genuine love” and appreciation. Along the way Ace shows off his depth and growth. ‘Chloe’ comes locked in with five new tracks, led by the standout single “Mountains” which was produced by Zaytoven. Yungeen Ace also dropped the Joan Pabon-directed visual for “Mountains,” bringing the track to life with something fitting and vivid.
The wordsmith opened up about the project recently. He stated: “There’s been a lot of negativity around me this past year. There were attempts on my life, and I lost mud brothers and blood brothers.” He added, “But now, I feel untouchable, and I need everybody to know that I’m prepared to match their same energy … I’m never stopping, I’m on they neck now.”
