Back in December, Childish Major dropped off his Dirt Road Diamond album. Since then, we haven’t heard too much from the artist. Today the South Carolina native is back, arriving with a brand new single for our listening enjoyment. The track is called “Wife You,” a smooth new track that also comes with a steamy set of visuals. Childish shows off his talents behind the mic, serving up a matching set of visuals in the process.
The track is driven by some highly contagious melodies which are flawlessly meshed with some mid-tempo drum work. The combination provides the artist with a nice home to excel, and he doesn’t fall short in the process. Mr. Major looks to find the balance between insecurities and valid questioning, looking to spend the rest of his life with that one special woman. He asks: “Am I secure enough to be with this woman knowing her previous/current ways?” The track follows his previous 2020 singles, “Dem Know” and “Shallow Dimes.”
