Aminé – Compensating Ft. Young Thug

It’s been three long years since Aminé dropped an album. Sure, the wordsmith dropped OnePointFive back in 2018, but according to him it was “just a placeholder, because [he] was tired of working on his next album.” Today the wordsmith is back with a brand new single as he gears up to drop off his upcoming album, Limbo. The project is slated to arrive in early August, and Aminé unleashes “Compensating.”

The track finds the MC pairing up with the ATL’s very own, Young Thug. This new single arrives after Aminé shared the first two singles, “Riri” and “Shimmy.” He also opened up about working with producer T-Minus and Young Thug. Aminé told Apple Music, “I was in Toronto working with T-Minus on this song.” He went to add, “I put the hook together, and then Minus told me he had a session with Thug, and he thought that we would mesh well together on this song. And he was the one who kind of quarterbacked the whole thing.”

“Compensating” can be heard in the stream below, and it’s one we wouldn’t suggest sleeping on. Press play and keep it locked with The Culture Curators for much more new music coming very soon.
