Legends of the Road! 1954 Aston Martin DB2/4 Drophead Coupe

For fans of classic automobiles, Aston Martin is undoubtedly at the top of the list when it comes to legendary machines. The company has been producing head-turning automobiles for nearly 70 years. Today we get a look at one of their rarest and most iconic rides, which is set to hit the auction block soon. Today we get a look at a  1954 Aston Martin DB2/4 Drophead Coupe.

This beautiful vehicle is one of two built with this stunning coachwork by Bertone. The car is a showcase of two built with this stunning coachwork by Bertone. This particular example was ordered via British Motor Car Distributors in San Francisco and delivered in November 1954. The vehicle was purchased by car enthusiast and San Francisco Opera member Edith Field.

The ride went on to place third at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance the next year before heading back across the Atlantic. However, it came back to the U.S. in a private collection. Now it’s your opportunity to own this iconic vehicle. Draped in a beautiful blue hue, the 1954 DB2/4 drophead is pristine and stunning, to say the least. The car even has its original tool roll and a ton of documentation, along with being in excellent condition.
