Out of This World! Hookie Co. Tardigrade Lunar Motorcycle Concept

The creative minds over at Hookie Co. are looking to take motorcycles to new heights. The company has returned to reveal their latest design, the Tardigrade. This motorcycle is an electric lunar exploration concept vehicle initially conceptualized by Russian designer Andrew Fabishevskiy. Hookie’s founder Nico Müller fell in love with the concept and created a foundation for the design in CAD.

The Tardigrade Lunar Motorcycle concept took nine months to complete and serves as the first Hookie Co. creation built completely in-house. The motorcycle features a sleek look, while Puraglobe Syntainics, a company that recycles used oil into synthetic lubricants, provided financial support. The Tardigrade’s battery and hub motors come from Swedish electric brand CAKE, providing ample power for the futuristic-looking machine. The Tardigrade will be on display at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles, though we’d love to take a trip around the lunar surface on one.

Check out the Tardigrade in the images and head over to Hookie Co. to find out more information right now. While you’re at it, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more rides, motorcycles, and more.
