Ambjaay – Ice Cream

If you have been tuning in with our weekly playlist, ‘A Curation of Sound,’ you should be familiar with Ambjaay. Today the talented artist is back with a brand new video for his sweet new single, “Ice Cream.” The single is a follow up to his equally as contagious, “Uno,” which we’re all familiar with by now. “Ice Cream” comes to life in a clip directed by Michael Laburt. The clip finds the 21 years old Los Angeles wordsmith riding around town in his ice cream truck, aptly.

He’s seen rocking some icy chains, making his way through the streets while serving up some sweet treats. Along the way, he runs into one unhappy customer, played by Big Perm himself, Faizon Love. He chases after Ambjaay after getting splashed by drip. It doesn’t faze the wordsmith, as he continues to do his thing along the way.

The wordsmith recently spoke about the video with Rap-Up. He stated: “The “Ice Cream” video shoot was lit from the beginning to the end.” Ambjaay went on to add, “The director, Faizon Love and the others in the video brought good energy. It was one of the best shoots so far, I had so much fun. I loved acting and having the creative control to be myself and the comedian I am.” The video is just the latest from Ambjaay, and we’re sure to hear more from the wordsmith coming soon.

Check out the new video in the stream below and look for more new music arriving very soon. Be sure to check out the latest installment of our weekly playlist, ‘A Curation of Sound’ while you’re at it.
