It’s been far too long since the world was treated to some new music from Asher Roth. That all changes today as the wordsmith is back with a new single called “Hunnid.” The track is the second single from Asher’s impending album, Flowers On The Weekend, which arrives on April 23rd. This time around, the lyricist links up with Joyce Wrice for a smooth new single. The track arrives after the title track from his upcoming album, and Asher doesn’t disappoint.
He recently opened up about the album, giving us a glimpse into what we can expect. Ash stated: “I’d say this album is the most genuine reflection of myself thus far.” He added, “I wanted to move home to make this album, recording with homegrown talent from in and around Philly.” “Hunnid” was produced by Rob Deckhart, driving by some smooth melodies and these slick drum sections. Asher and Joyce take to the track and showcase their respective styles seamlessly. The track even comes to life with a matching video that was shot by Obecuatro and edited by Joe Clement.
