It’s been twenty-six years since AZ dropped off his original album, Doe or Die. After all those years, the wordsmith is currently prepping a sequel. With a new project set to arrive in early September, AZ invaded the interwebs this weekend with the first single from the project.
The track is called “The Wheel.” The track features the talents of Jahiem, who laced the track with his impressive and undeniable talents behind the mic. AZ recently spoke about his impending album and what fans can expect. The artist stated: “It’s been a decade since I released a full body of work, but Doe Or Die 2 is just what the doctor ordered.” He went on to add, “With the help of Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, T-Pain, Alchemist, Conway The Machine, Dave East, Pete Rock, Bink, Buckwild, Kaygee, Heatmakerz, Rockwilder, Baby Paul, and a few others, I’m going to deliver an entree like no other.”
