The one and only, BIA, is back. The wordsmith has remained quite busy over the past few years, and today she is back with something new for our listening enjoyment kinda. Today BIA drops off the remix to her infectious single, “Whole Lotta Money,” linking up with the one and only, Nicki Minaj. The two come together to showcase their respective talents, breathing fresh life into the single in the process.
Nicki recently opened up about the track and why she jumped on the remix. While sitting down with BIA on an IG Live session, Nicki stated: “I kept on saying I love this song.” She went on to say, “I go into who did the song, and I was just gonna DM [BIA] and say ‘Yo, I love your song, keep doing your thing.’ I open her DM, and I see that [BIA] had been DM’ing me for three years.”
The duo had a conversation that culminated in the creation of this outstanding new remix. BIA’s parts stay the same for the most part, while Nicki adds her lyrical prowess to the track. She raps: “Higher than the moon, but I’m in tune, so don’t run up (Brrap) ‘Cause if you run up (Brrap), I guarantee you ain’t gon’ leave looking done up (Uh-uh) Some likkle Chinese bangs with the bun up.”
