It’s never a bad day when we get some new music from Cardi B. The wordsmith returned over the weekend with a brand new single, unleashing “WAP” featuring Megan Thee Stallion. The track finds the two MC’s bringing their A-game, naturally showing off their raunchy side in the process.
The track is the latest from Cardi, who recently opened up about the single with Apple Music’s Nadeska. Cardi stated: “I feel like there should be different female artists that everybody can relate to.” She went on to add, “Somebody might relate to me, or my past — I was a dancer. I was in the streets. But then somebody could relate to another female artist that was a schoolgirl or something. Some female artists are like more tomboyish than others. And some female artists can relate to the girly type of person. And some females can relate to the pop your p***y type of female artist.”
The New York City native continued to say, “So I feel like there should be variety. Because people need somebody to relate to or gravitate to. But people be trying to make that beef.”
The track was produced by Ayo & Keyz, who provided the duo with something exceptional to showcase their talents upon.
