It’s been far too long since we last heard from Cassidy, but that seems to be changing. The Philly native, and legendary MC, Cassidy is back. The wordsmith hasn’t dropped a new project recently but resurfaced recently with a new single.
He’s back at it again, linking up with Swizz Beatz for a brand new single called “Save The Children.” The track finds Cassidy hitting us with an array of his uncanny talents behind the mic, providing some game for the younger generations in the process. The track is driven by this sinister instrumental put together by Swizz Beatz, pushed by punchy drum work and these dark, almost ominous melodies. The combination provides Cassidy with a nice home to showcase of lyrical might, and as expected, he doesn’t disappoint.
This isn’t the first time Cassidy and Swizzy have joined forces, and hopefully it’s not the last. While there’s no word on where this track might live, or if Cassidy is working on anything in particular, but we’re keeping hope alive.
