The good folks over at HUF are back at it again. The iconic skate imprint is back to celebrate 2021 with a new range of style this time around. The new collection is the latest ‘Year of the Ox’ apparel capsule celebrating Chinese New Year and the good fortune of a “better year on the horizon.” The lineup takes inspiration from traditional Chinese New Year memorabilia, including unique attention to detail and bold quality.
The ox-themed capsule features ink wash painting and calligraphy details adorning fleece, long and short sleeve tees, and socks. The range also boasts red and gold accents along with Chinese zodiac symbology. Highlights from the collection include the Year of the Ox Pullover Hoodie and Short Sleeve Tee with a monochrome ox against a HUF Triple Triangle mountain-scape.
The Yoto Zen Ox Long Sleeve Tee pays homage to Eastern folktales and Zen poems. Another notable selection is the Yoto Ox Watercolor Short Sleeve Tee, which features the animal in stylized brushwork. The capsule is finished off with the Yoto Years Crewneck and Short Sleeve Tee, as well as the Year of the Ox Crew Sock.
