The one and only, Syd, is back! It’s been a minute since we heard from The Internet singer, but today that all changes. She’s back with a brand new single for our listening enjoyment, this one called “Missing Out.” The artist has been staying busy over the past few years, and as of now, she is working on her film project. Syd is also partnering on an apparel/fashion project in Japan and teaming up with an upstart Napa Valley sparkling wine brand.
She has even been focusing on collecting old trucks while in quarantine. “Missing Out” serves as Syd’s first solo release since 2017, when she dropped off her debut album Fin. The track is an anti-Valentine’s Day ode, and she doesn’t disappoint. The single is driven by some smooth melodic elements and these crisp, cool drum work. The backdrop provides a nice home for the songstress to do her thing, and she definitely doesn’t disappoint. No word on where this track may end up or if Syd is working on a new project, but we’ll keep you in the know.
