With the 2019 US Open right around the corner, Polo Ralph Lauren is back with some bold new style for the court. The brand will serve as the official outfitter of the sporting event, supplying a colorful dose of style in the process. The partnership will find the brand creating apparel for all on-court officials and ball persons throughout the tournament. For the 2019 US Open, sustainability will play a major role in the brand’s collection.
The ballperson uniforms come crafted from a fabric derived from recycled plastic water bottles. This is similar to the recently launched, Earth Polo. The uniforms come rocking a multi-colored shirt with red and yellow sleeves and a blue and green striped upper. The bold colorway continues throughout the collection. The range boasts two hoodies, a long sleeve sweater, a signature shirt, a bucket hat, and a cap.

The two hoodies include an all-white version with a small tennis bracket logo on the left chest. The second one boasts a multi-color design with the “POLO Tennis” logo on the center chest. Ralph Lauren will also explore their innovative create-your-own-program by setting up an on-site retail store at the tournament. Here visitors will find an expanded list of products with new items and more colorways.
For anyone looking to pick up a few pieces of their own, the drop will be available on-site at the Ralph Lauren US Open shop and at select Polo Ralph Lauren stores. Polo will also unleash the new collection online, giving us all the opportunity to elevate our look.
