Back at it once again, Netflix returns with a look at their latest upcoming series. Today we get our first look at the upcoming series titled Social Distance. The show is made up of eight standalone episodes and focuses on the lives of different people coping with quarantine. The series comes from the creator of Orange Is The New Black, Jenji Kohan, and her team.
The project was put together virtually in order to keep the staff healthy and safe during lockdowns. The show was directed remotely, and the entire cast filmed themselves at home. According to the press release from Netflix, the goal is to “connect” viewers through a “deeply human” and “emotional experience.” Along the way, the series will highlight “the power of the human spirit in the face of uncertainty and isolation.” It certainly looks interesting, and it’s one we’ll be adding to the queue.
