Round Two co-founder Sean Wotherspoon is back, and he is readying his next release with adidas Originals. Today we get our first look at the latest iteration of the Superstar, dubbed the SUPEREARTH Superstar. Following the release of the inaugural white-based iteration, Mr. Wotherspoon has revealed a black rendition. The reveal follows previous rumors, offering a sleek and stylish approach to a classic silhouette. The shoes upper is crafted from leather which is adorned with floral embroidery in a selection of varied colors.
The uppers distressed look offers a nice touch, while details of green, baby blue, orange, and yellow are seen around the eyestay and heel. Wotherspoon’s friendly SUPEREARTH characters are seen on the tongue, decorating the lace shroud and a dubrae. The sneakers are finished off with a shell toe and sole unit finish flecked with color, offering a look at its sustainable credentials in the process. The adidas Originals SST AEC SUPEREARTH Superstar in black is set to release on adidas’ regional Australian site and elsewhere worldwide on October 22nd.
