Back in the warmer parts of 2021, DJ Snake returned with a brand new single called “You Are My High.” The track featured a captivating sample from The Gap Band and became a Summer anthem of sorts. Today DJ Snake is back, returning with a new take on the track. This time around, Snake reveals “U Are My High,” which features the ATL’s very own, Future.
The track was originally an infectious instrumental, with the added bonus of Future showing off his talents behind the mic. The track is driven by this bass-heavy instrumental full of highly contagious melodies and these energetic percussion elements. DJ Snake provides the backdrop while Future holds things down vocally. The ATLien shows off his delivery and style, effortlessly floating on top of the instrumental. While the original instrumental might have been a heater, adding Future to the mix was definitely a solid option. If you haven’t heard the original, be sure to check out.
