The duo known as Emotional Oranges are back! Today they return to the interwebs with a brand new single, unleashing a silky smooth new one called “Bonafide.” The duo of A and V link up with chiiild for their first single of 2021. The track has an infectious and undeniable vibe, as the Emotional Oranges again showcase their uncanny abilities.
“Bonafide” is driven by these pulsing drum sections that aren’t too energetic or overbearing. These elements are seamlessly paired with a groovy bassline and a smooth melody. The combination provides a nice home for the trio to do their thing, and they certainly don’t disappoint. The duo spoke about the track and stated: “This one was heavily inspired by The xx and Sade.” They went on to add, “Hope it reminds you to love yourself (and others) through the hard times. You’re not alone, don’t give up.”
