Fashion Forward | STORY mfg. “Earthtone” Fall/Winter 2019 Collection

The up and coming sustainable imprint, STORY mfg. has unveiled “Earthtone.” The collection comes inspired by British pub culture, handcrafts, casual hikers, and folklore. The Fall/Winter 2019 collection takes cues from outdoor gear. We see oversized designs that expand the brand’s aesthetic while exploring sustainability and ethical fashion production.

Back in June, the UK-based label introduced new dyes and techniques for its Spring/Summer 2020 collection. These new dyes serve as a continuation of their plant-based focus. “Earthtone” is host to pieces crafted from organic fabrics. The silhouettes are then dyed using plant-based coloring, each of which manufactured in its renewable energy-powered atelier in India.

STORY mfg. leaves nothing to waste, repurposing its cotton cutoffs for the paper labels.  The collection also boasts new tie-dye techniques, block-printing, and hand-knitting. Details such as glass beading and hand embroidery are all implemented throughout. Denim shapes, corduroy hiking outerwear, and more classic designs comprise the collection. However, standouts like a brown corduroy overshirt and the palm tree embroidered hoodie is perfect for the seasons ahead.

There is a range of womenswear as well. Here we find a floaty pink and blue tie-dye printed dress, a blue and white tie-dye corduroy skirt and more. Take a closer look at STORY mfg’s Fall/Winter 2019 collection in the images and pick up your favorite pieces immediately.

The collection is now available online and in select stockists worldwide. Keep it locked here with The Culture Curators for more style and fashion options coming soon.
