Clean Customs | The Manhart MH8 600

When BMW announced the resurrection of the M8 platform, Autoliebhaber and tuning companies immediately began planning the modifications of a car not yet available. The race to perfect the already impressive luxury rocket is underway, but there seems to be clear front runner already. The brand previewed the vehicle toward the end of last year. But now we are more than intrigued by the Manhart MH8 600.

Now that official specs are out we’re blown away, much like almost anybody who lines up next to this monster. Starting with the already quick M850i. Manhart took the 4.4 liter twin-turbo V8 and dialed in the tuning. They’ve pumped 613 horsepower and 656-foot lbs of torque out the setup. Those numbers are just 4 hp under and 100-foot lbs OVER the Competition trim from BMW. This is no sleeper, however.

Manhart added perfectly curated style and stance upgrades to this high-class hustler. H&R springs drop the ride height about 30 millimeters and aggressively tuck the 21” matte black 6 double-spoke wheels for a mean stance. Custom badging and just enough carbon fiber adorn the slightly modified bodywork, highlighted by the front splitter and matching rear spoiler.

The gold accents are exquisite. A perfect blend of Bond villain and Smokey and the Bandit on the Autobahn, this is a head-turner even next to the already magnificent BMW M850i.

No pricing or availability has been announced for this edition, though the Manhart MH8 600 will be crushing the streets in no time. For more info check out Manhart’s website and keep it locked for more incredible custom cars coming soon!
