Get The Bag | Our Four Favorite Backpacks For Any Adventure

Summer is coming to a close and back to school is all the buzz. Growing up, my new school year planning revolved around shoes and all the fresh new backpacks. Homeroom assignments are no longer a concern, the nostalgia always gets me looking at new bags this time of year.

To save some trouble, or maybe cause some unexpectedly. We’ve scoured the halls of The Culture Curators campus and picked some of our favorites “Back to School” bags from our professors of curation. Take a few moments to learn from our varied and diverse background in backpack-ery. Class is now in session.

The Best In Backpacks!

I chose the Ranger by HEX as my back to school bag for its size, design, and durability! When I’m not looking to bring my full Camera kit consisting of a 5d mark iv and multiple lenses I want something small and protective. The Ranger fits a full-size DSLR and 24-70 lens attached with plenty of room left for accessories. The water-resistant 900d ballistic poly keeps my gear safe in all elements. I’ve tested this material in sand, snow, and mud and it has never failed! All this and it looks awesome! HEX never disappoints with the style of its bags, and it holds true with the Ranger sling bag.

I’ve been rocking the Stuart & Lau Capstone Backpack in the Olive and Black colorway for a couple of months now. When I first saddled it with my daily items, I’d set out to give it the fair shot I give all bags. A couple of weeks later, I realized I didn’t want to wear any of my other bags so readily. The Capstone has lightweight, waterproof DuraLite™ nylon twill finish with soft leather straps that beg to rest on the shoulder. The large main compartment is flanked with top and side entry. It also boasts pockets for goodies and a waterproof inner compartment. Let’s talk about what the bag is missing though… na there’s nothing. It even has a slot for charging cables and a magnet for magnetic key collection. The Capstone by Stuart & Lau is easily my favorite everyday backpack.

TUMI Backpack

I’m the type of person that has a pair of sneakers, or a few, just for rainy days. I’m the same way with backpacks. However, if I’m picking one backpack for everything. One bag that I can’t live without and would feel comfortable in any situation with, it’s my TUMI #Heineken100 custom carryall. It’s tough, it’s durable and most of all, it’s stunning! I like to stand out a bit. This bag has just the right amount of pop with plenty of functionality!

HUF x Jansport Backpack

As an everyday adventurer who is oftentimes required to get things done, I need a bag that handles adventure and productivity equally well. If it looks rad too, we’re in business. The HUF x Jansport Tahoma nails each of the boxes on the list for me. This 27L daypack is a perfect option for my day to day shenanigans. But its also great for a task-specific load-out to get real stuff accomplished. Throw in some bonus element resistance and trail tech for comfort; I’m not trying to carry anything else.

As we rely on more devices and creature comforts to get through the situations we call life. We’re evolving beyond the cargo short-age, and the Backpack has been there all along. Take a cue from those nerd kids at the bus stop. Load it up, put both straps on, and kick your to-do list’s ass. Do so with a bag of tricks you got to pick yourself. Just hold onto your lunch money.
