She’s back! By she, we mean H.E.R., and today she returns with a brand new single for our listening enjoyment. She’s been quite busy recently, garnering four Grammys and an Academy Award, but now she returns with some new music. She announced that her debut album, Back Of My Mind, will drop on June 18th, and we couldn’t be more excited. Today H.E.R. drops off a new one called “Made It.”
The track is the latest single from her upcoming album, following standouts such as “Come Through” and “Slide.” This latest track is the opening track to her debut album and one of our favorites so far. The track is pushed by these incredibly smooth melodies, which are seamlessly paired with some mid-tempo drum work. The combination provides the songstress with an incredible home to excel in, and she doesn’t disappoint in the process.
The singer/songwriter shows off H.E.R. range and her penmanship, effortlessly providing us with an incredible listening experience in the process. Never one to disappoint, she certainly doesn’t start today.
