Brooklyn’s very own, Joey Bada$$ is back. The wordsmith returns with something different for our listening and viewing pleasures. This time around the wordsmith serves up a brand new single called “Head High.” The track was debuted on A COLORS SHOW, in which Joey showed off his lyrical prowess and growth as an artist. The track was produced by Statik Selektah, who provides an infectious, old school-inspired backdrop for the wordsmith to do his thing upon.
Joey hits the infectious instrumental running and unleashes a barrage of his style and sound. The wordsmith speaks lyrically on the topic of perseverance, opening up about the tough times and the loss of loved ones. The track, “Head High” is the second single from Joey this year, following “The Rev3nge,” which came out a few weeks earlier. The track is the second single from his impending album, though no release date has been announced.
