Cleveland’s very own, Kid Cudi is back. It’s been a minute since we got some new music from the MC, but that all changes today. Today the wordsmith makes his return with a brand new single entitled “Leader of the Delinquents.” Cudi recently previewed the track on his Instagram account via IG Live. The song is the first release from the artist since 2018’s Kids See Ghosts with Kanye West. It’s also his first solo music since 2016’s Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin’.
No word on if Cudi is working on a new album, but we can hope. The new single is pushed by these menacing drum sections while matched with some captivating melodies. The combination provides Cudi with an incredible home to do his thing, and he serves up a solid dose of his talents behind the mic. This man never lets us down, and he definitely doesn’t start today. Again, no word on where this track will end up, or if Cudi is working on a new project. However, it’s one worth checking out.
