Never one to let us down, Leon Bridges always comes with impressive new material. The smooth and soulful sounds of Leon Bridges are back! It’s been over a year since he dropped off his sophomore album, Good Thing, but Leon is back with a brand new single for our listening pleasures.
The track is called “That Was Yesterday,” a stripped-down, soulful number that we can’t seem to get enough of. Powerful, potent and gripping, Leon effortlessly shows off his vocal talents, as well as his abilities with the pen, doing so over top of this beautiful acoustic guitar which provides a folk-esque sound. Leon takes to the track and gives us some of his uncanny abilities, showcasing his raspy vocals and his incredible sound. This man never disappoints, and he kicks off the weekend with something quite contagious. No word on where this track is from, or where it may live, or if Mr. Bridges is working on a new project; but’s one worth checking out.
