The good folks over at UNDERCOVER took to Instagram recently to announce the return of something special. The label has announced the return of the Helmut Hot Dog Man Lamp. After its initial release last year, the lamp will return, marking the latest addition to UNDERCOVER’s collaboration with the famous London illustrator Will Sweeney and Medicom Toy.
Their previous collaboration includes other figurative lamps such as the Mr. Buttons Lamp and the Hamburger Lamp. The character features Sweeny’s unique take on personifying objects and UNDERCOVER’s affinity for quirky designs. The lamp features a superhero hot dog in a green suit, red creeper shoes, and a cape. Only the hot dog part of the lamp lights up once the switch has been flipped. If you want to add a unique conversation piece to your home or office, you’ve found it.
