The beautiful and incredibly talented, Mahalia is back. If you haven’t yet gotten familiar with her talents, now would be a great time to do so. The songstress returns after unleashing her Burna Boy-assisted single “Simmer.” This time she drops off “Square 1.” Once again, the artist shows off her vocal talents and cooks up something smooth. “Square 1” marks the latest single from her impending album, ‘Love and Compromise.’
The track is probably her smoothest yet. “Square 1” is driven by a smooth, laid back instrumental that allows Mahalia to excel. She takes the opportunity to open up about a relationship that can never get too far, always returning to its starting point. In doing so, she shows off her depth as an artist and her range as a performer. She provides a solid dose of her contagious talents behind the mic, while again providing something smooth and contagious. The track marks the fourth single from her upcoming album, and it’s our favorite yet.
