Mark Ronson – Then There Were Two Ft. Anderson .Paak

It’s never a bad day when we get some new music from Mark Ronson. Today is one of those days. Mr. Ronson returns to the interwebs with a new single entitled “Then There Were Two.” The track finds the producer/artist showing off his talents alongside Anderson .Paak in the process. The track comes from the upcoming soundtrack for Spies in Disguise. It seems like soundtracks have been making a bit of a resurgence over the past few years.

There have been exceptional soundtracks to arrive, including ‘Black Panther,’ ‘Creed II,’ and more. The soundtrack is Mark’s musical take on Twentieth Century Fox and Blue Sky Studios’ upcoming animated film. The track is certainly something unique and catching. Driven by some groovy melodies and these old school drum sections, the backdrop is most certainly a vibe.

Both artists bring their A-game and create something quite smooth in the process. The track is the first single from Mark Ronson Presents the Music of Spies in Disguise. The full project arrives on December 13th. This is one we’d suggest sleeping on, and one we’re sure to hear much more of in the future.

Check out the lead single, “There There Were Two” in the stream below, and look for more from Mark Ronson coming soon. In the meantime, check out the latest installment of our weekly playlist, ‘A Curation of Sound.’
