The British producer, songwriter, and vocalist, Mura Masa is back. The talented artist is back with his first new single since 2017. He returns with a new track with quite a long title. Today Mura Masa unleashes “I Don’t Think I Can Do This Again”. The track finds the talented artist pairing up with Clairo for something smooth, sultry and quite impressive.
Mura recently opened up about the track, speaking on a new direction for his music in the process. He stated: “Punk and new wave is the music I grew up playing, so it feels like an exciting return for me”. The artist went on to add, “I’m thrilled to debut this new sound with one of indie music’s most exciting and talented songwriting newcomers in Clairo. To me, this is the zeitgeist of the next year in music; a new type of band.”
The track begins with these soft guitar melodies which transitions into more experimental sounds. The duo showcases their respective talents quite well, coming together for something quite impressive and infectious. The track evokes the hopelessness and nostalgia of a young romance. Along the way Mura and Clairo serve up something impressive and unique. The track arrives ahead of the Grammy-award winner’s upcoming shows.
Mura Masa will be performing at the Reading and Leeds Festival, The Warehouse Project and Pitchfork Music Festival Paris.
