It’s been a minute since we last heard from the collective known as Nappy Roots. That all changes today as the fellas return with a brand new single for our listening enjoyment. Today the crew comes together for a smooth new effort entitled “Backroads.” Even though it’s been three years since Nappy Roots dropped off an album, the group continues to put out new material.
After serving up “Blind Faith,” Skinny DeVille, Fish Scales, Buffalo Stille, and Ron Clutch are back at it yet again. The track finds the fellas painting a vivid picture, which is brought to life in a fitting set of visuals. The Kentucky natives take on a lyrical and visual trip down some “Backroads” and put together another solid example of their talents. The track is just the latest from the group who is gearing up to drop their next album 40RTY on September 18th.
