For those who haven’t gotten familiar with Red Hearse, now is the time to do so. Red Hearse is a new trio that features successful pop producer Jack Antonoff, successful rap producer Sounwave, and hip-hop singer-songwriter Sam Dew. The trio invaded our psyche a few weeks ago when the dropped off a pair of incredibly contagious singles. Today the duo is back, returning with their fourth single called “Everybody Wants You” which also comes with news that an album is set to arrive in two weeks.
The new single, “Everybody Wants You” finds the trio again showing off their respective talents, while Sam Dew holds things down on the vocal side of things. The track is sparse and emotive, synthesized and contagious, while pushed by this incredible instrumental that will instantly get caught in your head.
Dew sings: “Hey babe, seems like every time I’m close you turn away,” showing off his soulful sound and his talents with the pen. He concludes: “Baby, what’s the use?” while blending flawlessly with the harmonized background vocals in there too. The track is just another example of Red Hearse’s genius, and it marks their fourth single that we will be rocking with for the foreseeable future. Do yourself a favor and get familiar with Red Hearse.
