Off-Road Ready Icons | 1975 Ferrari 308 Dino Safari Coupe

When we think of classic Ferrari’s, we generally do not think of anything ready for the off-road. We’ve seen some interesting iterations through the years, including those with a safari offroad treatment. Today we get a look at another safari coupe, a 1975 Ferrari 308 Dino Safari Coupe. This eye-catching ride went in for a restoration and came out as a ’70s-inspired rally car. Inspired by the legendary Lancia Stratos, both the Stratos and the 308 GT4 were designed by Marcello Gandini.

The ride’s power comes from a 3-liter, 240 horsepower V8. This particular Dino came from the factory with the rare backseat-delete option. Other details include a custom coilover suspension to raise the ride height, while 15-inch wheels are wrapped in Michelin offroad tires. The interior has been completely restored, rocking an eye-catching red and black scheme. The interior flawlessly matches the classic boxer exterior paint. Other details include a CB whip antenna, four-point harnesses, a fire extinguisher, and Hella lighting. This off-road-ready legend is set to hit the auction block.
