2019 has been relatively quiet for the OVO camp. Outside of Drake’s project and a few singles here and there from Roy Woods, DVSN, and others. The crew hasn’t delivered as often as previous years. PARTYNEXTDOOR makes his return to the interwebs, doing so with not one, but two new singles. Today the artist is back with “The News” and “Loyal,” which comes with a feature from Drake. The two new tracks arrive out of nowhere and after nearly two years without dropping a project.
PND hasn’t released an album since 2016’s PND3, and the last time we got anything from him was the 2017 EP Seven Days. He’s stay tuned busy though as a songwriter, working with several today’s biggest stars. Now he’s back with his first release in a few years, giving us two outstanding new tracks. “The News” is a smooth track. One that finds the artist showing off his expertise behind the mic and with the pen. The second track, “Loyal,” featuring Drake, is one we’re sure to hear everywhere. This catchy joint is sure to be a smash and one we’ll definitely be rocking with for a minute.
